Radiography Requirements

Our Radiology course consist of a 2 day course with a total of 16 hours. Fee for this continuing education course is $500.
Certified dental assistant ( who sucessfully completes the DANB exam)or assistant who completes an ADA- accredited dental assisting dental hygiene program

All others including those who move to North Carolina from out-of-state must successfully pass an equivalency exam.The exam may be challenged after completing 7 hours of instruction in the production and use of dental x-rays and an education programs not less than 14 hours in clinical dental radiology.

Must be able to prove that you have the minimal amount of training to be eligible to take the radiology equivalency exam or you may take a course prior to taking the exam.
